Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 2026

Direct Conveyors, LLC ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you visit our website (the "Site"), use our online product configurator, receive email from us, or otherwise interact with us.

1) Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

Personal Information: Name, email address, phone number, company details, and any information you provide through forms or inquiries.

Configurator Account Information: If you create an account or request a quote in our online product configurator, we collect the details you enter, such as your contact information and the products and options you configure.

Technical Information from Third-Party Tools: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity collect your IP address, browser type, operating system, device information, and usage data through cookies and similar technologies. See Section 3 for details.

Our Own Website Analytics: Our own first-party analytics records the pages you view, the files you download (such as catalogs, manuals and CAD files), how you found us (for example a search, an email or an ad), and roughly which country you are in. We do not store your IP address in our own analytics.

Language: We note which language version of the Site you used (English, Spanish or French), based on the page address, so we can respond in that language.

Email Engagement: If you receive marketing email from us, we may record whether you opened it and which links you clicked.

2) How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and provide requested services.
  • Route your inquiry to the Direct Conveyors sales representative or independent sales representative who covers your area.
  • Follow up with information that fits the products and pages you looked at.
  • Prepare quotes, process orders, and deliver products.
  • Send marketing email, which you can unsubscribe from at any time.
  • Improve our website and customer experience.
  • Comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
3) Cookies and Tracking

Our Site uses cookies and similar technologies to make the Site work, understand how it is used, and follow up on inquiries. We use:

Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics. Google Tag Manager loads our tracking tools. Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors use the Site, such as which pages are popular and how people arrive. Google receives your IP address and other technical information. Learn more at https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Microsoft Clarity. Clarity records how visitors interact with our pages, including mouse movements, clicks, and scrolling, as session recordings and heatmaps. We use this to find and fix problems with the Site. Microsoft receives your IP address and other technical information. Learn more at https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement.

Our own analytics (website visits). When you visit our websites we set a first-party cookie (dc_vid) that lets us count the pages you view, how you found us (for example a search, an email or an ad), and roughly which country you are in. File downloads, such as catalogs, manuals and CAD files, are counted the same way. We do not store your IP address. If you fill in a form, click a link in an email from us, or open a link we sent you, we may connect those page views to your contact record so our team can follow up with information that fits what you looked at. We keep raw page-view records for 13 months.

Cookies we use:

dc_vid. Set by: Direct Conveyors. Purpose: counts your page views and downloads and remembers how you found us, as described above. How long: 13 months.

dc_consent. Set by: Direct Conveyors. Purpose: remembers your tracking choice (accept or decline, or "Do not track me"). How long: 13 months.

dc_rg. Set by: Direct Conveyors. Purpose: remembers your general region so we know whether to ask for your consent first. How long: 1 day.

Google Analytics cookies (names begin with _ga). Set by: Google. Purpose: tell visits and visitors apart so we can measure Site traffic. How long: up to 2 years. More information: https://policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.

Microsoft Clarity cookies (such as _clck and _clsk). Set by: Microsoft. Purpose: connect page views into sessions for session recordings and heatmaps. How long: from 1 day up to 1 year. More information: https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement.

4) Your Choices

Visitors in Canada, the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked first, and we set no tracking cookie for our own analytics unless you accept.

Everyone else can turn our own tracking off at any time with the "Do not track me" link at the bottom of every page.

We honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track browser settings as a request not to be tracked.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some features may not work properly. Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

You can unsubscribe from our marketing email at any time using the link in every message.

5) Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data:

With Direct Conveyors sales representatives and independent sales representatives who cover your area, so they can follow up on your inquiry or quote.

With trusted service providers that work on our behalf, including website hosting, our customer relationship management (CRM) system, our email delivery provider, our online product configurator provider, analytics providers (Google and Microsoft), and payment processing.

As required by law.

6) Marketing Email

We send marketing email through an email delivery provider. Our emails use tracking to tell us whether a message was opened and which links were clicked. If you click a link in one of our emails, we may connect your later visits to our Site with your contact record, as described in Section 3. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.

7) Online Product Configurator

Our online product configurator, available on a configurator subdomain of our Site, is run for us by a third-party software vendor. When you create an account or request a quote there, the information you enter is stored by that vendor and shared with Direct Conveyors so we can prepare your quote and follow up. The vendor's own privacy practices also apply to the information it handles.

8) Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for business purposes or legal compliance. We keep raw page-view records from our own analytics for 13 months. Google and Microsoft keep data collected by their tools according to their own policies and our settings. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.

9) Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. Depending on your location, additional rights may apply under applicable privacy laws. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, write to [email protected].

10) Security

We implement reasonable measures to protect your data. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11) Third-Party Links

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.

12) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated Effective Date.
